Beekeeper 101 Class

The Beekeeper 101 Class which is being coordinated by Dr. Katie Buckley, entomologist. Topics to be covered include: starting out as a beekeeper, colony management by season, integrated pest management and products of the hive. This class will be taught by experienced beekeepers and provides useful information for everyone.
The cost is $ 15.00 for Central Washington Beekeeper Association members and $20.00 for non members. The class will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Yakima Area Arboretum from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please bring a pen and notebook or a computer and your lunch and water.
