CWBA Meeting

April 7 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Linked below is a list of 2026 Registered Varroa Mite Miticides. Dr. Katie Buckley, entomologist, recommends that you purchase 2-3 of these now for use throughout this year. She stressed the importance of reading and following the directions very carefully for any of these applications. Dr. Buckley will address miticide treatment in detail at the Tuesday, April 7, 2026 CWBA meeting. This meeting will take place at the Yakima Area Arboretum at 6:00 p.m.  Please bring your copy of this document, which was distributed at the March meeting.

If you haven’t renewed your membership for 2026, please do so.  There is a membership application linked below.  You can mail in your application if you are unable to attend meetings, but would like to have the information provided at the meetings.
As a reminder, if you are interested in purchasing a beekeeper license plate for the state of Washington, log into dol.wa.gov. The cost is  $30 for specialty plates and $52 for personalized plates. (See a previous email for more details or check out dol.wa.gov).
